While Whoopi Goldberg may not be the person you’d most expect to pop up in the latest Nike Sportswear releases she is a born and raised New Yorker, so you have to expect her to be at least aware of the whole sneaker culture. Apparently she’s a little bit more than that, having showed up to this morning’s episode of The View with that pinnacle of Nike Air Penny brightness, the Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Electrolime’. Is this perhaps the product of a Flight Club splurge on her way to work at the ABC studios one day? Is Whoopi sitting on a massive collection of Nike Basketball rarities that we don’t know about?
